Sneak Peek for Anton and Tina!

I did it! I shot my first wedding and I am hooked! I had such a terrific time, it was easy to forget that I was working. That's the kind of job to have - doing something you enjoy so much that you forget you do it for a living! Thank you Anton and Tina for inviting me to photograph your special day. It was truly a treat!

Anton and Tina had a beautiful simple ceremony. The church was overflowing with family and friends that had come to celebrate their marriage - not a single seat was empty. Tina was a relaxed, cool bride. Underneath her delicately embroidered gown, her hip style and spunky red-head personality exhibited itself in the form of flipflops - elegant, very stylish flipflops! I loved them!

The couple headed off to Vegas for their honeymoon. Vegas, Baby, VEGAS! I tried to fit in the suitcase because they happen to be in Vegas at the exact same time as the Wedding and Portrait Photographers International Convention (it's THE event for the top wedding photographers in the world!). Okay, enough of me - now for the sneak peek! Congratulations Anton and Tina!

I'm going to be accepting a few weddings this year for my portfolio-building. If you're interested, please contact me through my website (www.jconnerphotography.com) for more information and images.

It's no secret that I shoot on-location. I come to your home and create personal photographs of you and your family. Often times, people aren't sure if their house is "good enough" for photographs. PHOOEY! I say. NONSENSE, I reply. Need proof? Check out my self-portrait above. (I shoulda' photoshopped out my wrinkles!) Guess where I took this photo. Go ahead, guess!

In my bathroom. Yes, squeezed in between the toilet and the shower. I set my trusty camera on the counter, backed up an entire 24 inches, just long enough for my finger to hit the shutter release button, and voila! You don't have to live in a mansion to have beautiful photographs. It's all about seeing the beauty in you!

I'm excited and honored to be a part of Celebrating Adoption (www.celebratingadoption.org). This national not-for-profit group of professional photographers volunteer their time and resources to providing complimentary photo sessions and preview books to families who have adopted a child, either locally or internationally, within the past 12 months. If you, or someone you know, qualifies please have them contact me at jconner@jconnerphotography.com or send them to www.celebratingadoption.org to find a photographer in their locality.
Unfortunately, the participating photographers do have to limit the number of sessions they can accept each month. Because of the volunteer nature of these sessions, they fill up quickly. Shoot me an email today to schedule your adoptive family session.

Welcome to The J Conner Experience! Okay, so the name is a little goofy, but I wanted my blog to reflect the 'other' side of me - you know, the wild, edgy, non-traditional Jeanne! If you've been to my website (www.jconnerphotography.com) you'll notice that I've gone for a very traditional look. The traditional look doesn't apply to all of my clients, especially seniors, so I needed to balance it out.

What will you see here?

> News about J Conner Photography and the exciting changes that are helping to bring this business to the leading edge!

> Sneak previews of recent sessions - now you can oooh and aaah over all those cute little babies I get to photograph! (Can you tell I love my job?)

> You'll also be the first to know about coming specials, sales, and discounts! Keep an eye out, because they are going to be hitting this blog soon!

Thanks for checking in!
